Post #1: About ME

Hey Everyone

- I am Kellyann from Brockton, MA.

- I decided that Social Work was going to be my major after first trying Psychology as a major and not really liking their setting and type of work.  Luckily realized early that I wanted to work with people within their community before I was really far into that major.

- I enjoy working with families within their own community because it gives me more of a look at how they live and communicate with others.
- This semester I hope to learn of different resources that Social Workers can look at and use to help out their clients.
- A really great class is a class that has great participation from all the students and instructor.  Also a great class is a class where everyone can feel able to say how they feel and not feel/get judged.
- If I could have one magical power it would be the capability of getting into peoples mind and know what their thinking and to be able to alter them.
- Four interesting things about myself is that I am shy, short but wish I was shorter, only child, and ready to graduate but not excited to be out of school.
- For fun I love going out, if it is summer time I love the beach and just relaxing is the winter time just movies and snacks in the house or at a theater.
- If I could solve one major social problem it would be poverty/homelessness. 
- I do not really have a dream job but if I had to make one up it would be a job that I love going to and that I get paid a whole lot of money and can make people happy, but a dream/realistic job that I am hoping for is to work for the VA (Veterans Affair).
